「霊的賜物とは何か」（１コリント１２章４～１１節）※日本語＆英語
《今日のポイント》
１ 賜物とは何か（４～６節）
賜物は、ギリシャ語でカリスマタという言葉です。カリス（恵み）という言葉の複数形がカリスマタで、単なる能力や才能ではなく、神様の恵みによって与えられたプレゼントであることが分かります。ですから、賜物が、神様の栄光を表す働きの為に用いられるならば、それは何倍にも豊かに祝されて、教会の働きの為にも、社会全体の働きの為にも用いられることになるでしょう。逆に、個人が自分の栄光の為にとか、自分だけが独り勝ちする為に、このカリスマタ＝賜物を用いようとするならば、それは残念ながら、豊かな恵みにはつながりません。ONE FOR ALL, ALL FOR ONE＝「一人は全体の為に、全体は一人の為に」（出典：アレキサンドル・デュマ（フランスの作家）の小説「三銃士」の主人公ダルタニヤンと三銃士の誓いの言葉）という言葉は、賜物を説明するときに、最もふさわしい言葉ではないでしょうか。
２ 神様の栄光が表されるために（７～１１節）
聖霊なる神様が、自由に望まれるままに一人一人に与えられる霊の賜物には、どのような種類があるでしょうか。同じ一つの霊から、つまり、聖霊によって「知恵の言葉」「知識の言葉」が与えられる人がいます。「信仰」「病気をいやす力」「奇跡を行う力」「預言する力」「霊を見分ける力」「種々の異言を語る力」「異言を解釈する力」を与えられる人がいます。これは、「キリストの体」（１２：２７）が形づくられるためです。聖霊の賜物が与えられるのは、個人を通して、教会という共同体を通して、世の中に神様の栄光が表され、世の中全体に神様の救いの御業が広がっていくためです。個人の栄光の為ではありません。

1. What is a gift? (verses 4-6)
The Greek word for gift is charismata. The plural form of the word charis (grace) is charismata, and we can see that it is not just an ability or talent, but a gift given by God's grace. Therefore, if a gift is used for the work that glorifies God, it will be blessed many times more abundantly and used for the work of the church as well as for the work of society as a whole. It will be. On the other hand, if an individual tries to use this charismata gift for his own glory or for his own personal victory, unfortunately this will not lead to abundant blessings.
ONE FOR ALL, ALL FOR ONE = "One for all, all for one" (Source: The oath between D'Artagnan and the Three Musketeers in the novel "The Three Musketeers" by Alexandre Dumas (French author) Isn't that the most appropriate word when describing a gift?
2. For the glory of God (verses 7-11)
What are the types of spiritual gifts that God the Holy Spirit freely gives to each person as he desires?
There are people who are given the "word of wisdom" and "word of knowledge" by the same Spirit, that is, by the Holy Spirit. There are people who are given ``faith,'' ``power to heal,'' ``power to perform miracles,'' ``power to prophesy,'' ``power to discern spirits,'' ``power to speak in various tongues,'' and ``power to interpret tongues.'' This is so that the "body of Christ" (12:27) will be formed.
The gift of the Holy Spirit is given so that God's glory can be expressed in the world through individuals and the community of the church, and God's work of salvation can spread throughout the world. It's not for personal glory.
